안녕하세요.

우선 드릴 질문은 문자열을 잘라서 arraylist에 넣을 수 있나요?;

제가 하고자 하는 것은

string에 값이 이미 있으면 string의 값을 arraylist에 잘라서 넣고

없다면 arraylist의 값을 만들려고 하는데요.

이미 string에 값이 있을 때 , 

어떻게 arraylist를 만들 수 있을지 모르겠습니다.

string의 값과 arraylist의 값은 같아요. 단지 형식이 다를 뿐입니다.

두 값 모두

이런 식으로 값을 가지고 있습니다.

StringTokenizer  를 사용해서

  StringTokenizer plantList_token = new StringTokenizer(plantList, ","); 

이렇게 하고 system.out.println해봤는데

기존 string의 값에는 없는 값이 나옵니다;

어떻게 문자열을 잘라서 arraylist로 만들 수 있나요?

문자열에서 arraylist로 한번에 가지 않는 것같아서 

문자열 잘라서 -> 배열 -> arraylist이렇게 해보려고 합니다. 

그런데 arraylist가.. 제너릭형일 때 어떻게 해야하나요? 

Collections.addAll(articleList, array); 

이렇게 했는데 

addAll 에 The method addAll(Collection<? super T>, T...) in the type Collections is not applicable for the arguments (ArrayList<plant>, String[]) 

이렇게 빨간줄이 뜹니다.

말씀해주신 대로 했을 때 

마지막 줄을 articleList = new ArrayList<plant>(Arrays.asList(array)); 이렇게 적었습니다. 

그런데 new ArrayList<plant>(Arrays.asList(array)); 여기에 빨간줄이 생깁니다. 

The constructor ArrayList<plant>(List<String>) is undefined 이렇게 뜨면서 

new ArrayList<plant>(); 이렇게 바꾸라고요. 

그래서 Collections.addAll(articleList, array); 이부분을 추가했는데 

addAll에서 

The method addAll(Collection<? super T>, T...) in the type Collections is not applicable for the arguments (ArrayList<plant>, String[]) 

이런 문구가 뜹니다. 뭐가 잘 못된건가요?
